Prayer in the Key of Psalm 103:14-22

Dear Christian, surely you have 2 minutes to pray with me? Be blessed today.

For he knows our frame;
he remembers that we are dust.

Father, I am fragile, and I feel fragile. Sickness is all around us. I am bombarded with pain and suffering and death. No matter how hard I try, no matter how hard others try, we are not God. We are not perfect, and we are not everlasting.

As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;

Yet even in still small glimpses do I see beauty here. The corruption is not total! Flowers still bloom in humanity. Growth, vibrancy, and unique imagination are born by your Holy Spirit in the hearts of men!

for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.

But without you, sustaining Father, I would have no chance to live as I should. A fleeting moment of life would be all we had…

But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,

Instead, through the gift of everlasting life, I live! I live! Oh God, thank you for sending your son, Jesus, for my sake!

to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments.

Father, you know me. You know my inward being. You know the love you showed me that I now show you. You know you gave me your Son. You know my life is from your Holy Spirit. Father, you know! Now Let me know you more and more. Let me praise and proclaim your name more and more. God, help me!

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens,
and his kingdom rules over all.
Bless the Lord, O you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
Bless the Lord, all his hosts,
his ministers, who do his will!
Bless the Lord, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

In Jesus’ name,

Amen!
